• Keen desire to maintain the firm’s technical expertise, ensuring consistently high quality of service delivery.
• Married with 2 daughters who occupy much of her time outside of work, Debbie also enjoys cycling and swimming.

Richard Massey

• Joined Christian Douglass LLP in January 2011 in the advisory arm of the partnership.
• Trained, qualified and spent 10 years with a North West independent firm, specialising in all forms of advisory services to owner managed businesses and high net worth individuals.
• Specialist in business valuations, business planning, tax planning and advisory services.
• Passionate about ensuring that the firm remains at the fore-front of the provision of advisory services to owner managed businesses.
• Married with two children, Richard is a keen sportsman and enjoys playing tennis in his spare time.

Paul Caygill

Carlisle

• A specialist in accounting for small and medium sized businesses, both incorporated and otherwise, across a range of business sectors.
• Paul has a wide range of experience as a general practice accountant advising clients on all aspects of their business including audit, financial and management reporting, systems and management issues and business and personal taxation.
• Having obtained an Accounting and Finance Degree at the Manchester Business School, Paul moved to London and trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a practice based in the West End.
• Like Giles, Paul is also a native of Cumbria and returned to the area in August 2010 with his family, having spent nine years in London.  
• Paul is keen on a wide range of sports spending many weekends either watching or participating.  Paul completed the London Marathon in 2009.

• Specialist in corporate taxation who set up Christian Douglass in 2002.
• Passionate about maintaining the partnerships reputation for pro-active and mutually successful working relationships with clients.
• Has significant experience with all business types but specialises in family-owned companies with turnovers from £1m to £60m.
• Previously spent 10 years at Deloittes advising public and large private companies on corporate tax matters (including a number with US interests).
• A native of Cumbria, Giles obtained an Economics degree at the University of London.  He then qualified at a local firm in Carlisle before moving to Deloittes in Manchester.
• Married with 5 children, Giles is enthusiastic about all sports – particularly those involving horses or motorcycles.
